This is a very special journey of healing
We will be bringing Abuelita’s healing ways into every turn, guiding you into a deep process of transformation— Egg Cleansing, Fire Cleansing, Soul Retrieval, and all the more that Spirit calls for… returning you to the Sacred Space that you are.
And we want to give you the space to do that! We are curating an experience that offers you the freedom to Journey deep— the intimacy of a small group, the sanctuary of a retreat center all to ourselves, AND you each will have private rooms… your own sacred space.
During our days together, our collective intentions will lead us on an unwinding journey through the sacred sites of Teotihuacan —up, under and inside pyramids, temples, and secret sanctuaries— receiving channeled teachings and ceremonies along the way.
Days in Teotihuacan are intensive and full, but we try to give you some downtime (playtime for some, nap time for others) before we gather again in the evenings for Mindful Movement, Sharing Circle, and delicious meals at our Villas home, just steps from the pyramids.

SHAMANIC CLEANSING & SOUL RETRIEVAL
In alignment with the spiritual death and rebirth process that Teotihuacan invokes, Rebecca will deepen your journey with several shamanic healing tools culminating in a Fire Cleansing— an intensive shamanic ceremony which immerses the recipient in the smoke of medicinal incenses while rubbing an egg, a salt crystal, and herbs on the body which then get burned in a ceremonial fire. The energy will continue to release through the night, readying you as the Sacred Space into which we will then call your soul home in a beautiful Soul Retrieval ceremony.
MINDFUL MOVEMENT
Embodiment, integration, flow— these are key to sustained healing. Led by Yoga Therapist, Teresa Mock, this daily practice will open you into the sacred space of your body and renew your connection to its inner wisdom.
PRIVATE TEMPLE ACCESS
Rebecca’s long-standing relationship with Teotihuacan’s guardians & shamans allows her to secure us private access to several of the lesser known temples, and a supersecret surprise excursion that is sure to send you to the moon and beyond!
SACRED TALISMAN
Participants will each receive a special Talisman crafted by a local artist and charged by the energy of our final ceremony. It will carry the medicine that will continue to empower your journey home.
ONLINE CLASSES & COMMUNITY
Come together with your retreat family in two Zoom Classes— a pre-journey
preparation and a post-journey integration. We will also create a private online
community for you to share, connect, and post all those fabulous photos!
Teotihuacán
it is another world…
Imagine walking through an entire city of pyramids and temples built for the purpose of spiritual enlightenment. A chorus of clay whistles fills the air, reverberating off the stone temple in front of you. Its walls tell stories in iron-oxide hues— jaguars, eagles, and butterflies. You close your eyes to take it all in and notice the scent of Copal in the wind and, somewhere in the distance, a ceremonial drum begins its song.
Affectionately called ‘Teo’, it is known as “The Place where human becomes God’ and it was built as a map of spiritual transformation. Its temples and pyramids surround the Avenue of the Dead down which the ancient apprentices would travel, being ‘digested’ by Quetzalcoatl, the Feathered Serpent. Perhaps you will feel their prayers in the plazas of the elements, or their songs at the Tree of Life, and come home to yourself, as they did, atop the Pyramid of the Sun.
A mystery school of the ages, Teotihuacán is a powerful container for your transformation through which Rebecca and Teresa will skillfully and respectfully guide you.

yOur Guides
Rebecca haywood
At the age of twenty, Rebecca received an undeniable calling to step away from her psychology degree and find a spiritual teacher. This led to a ten-year apprenticeship with a family of Toltec shamans and a profound awakening. Living and working with Madre Sarita and her son, bestselling author don Miguel Ruiz, Rebecca was recognized as Sarita’s spiritual granddaughter and the next mother of her lineage— “La pluma dorada” who would “bring the two together”, her ways with Miguel’s.
True to Abuelita’s predictions, Rebecca opened her private practice in 2001 offering a blend of shamanic healing and spiritual mentoring, and later became a published author featured in two #1 best-sellers, Dancing in the Unknown and Shamanism in the New Millennium.
Rebecca has been guiding groups through Teotihuacan for over twenty years now and embodies a deep connection to the Divine Mother residing within its sacred grounds… “This is where we come home to the womb of our Divine.”

Teresa Mock
Following the call from spirit, Teresa began her apprenticeship with Rebecca in 2010 and was initiated into Madre Sarita’s lineage of healing. Blending elements from yoga therapy and trauma-informed coaching, Teresa brings grounding and grace, reflection and faith.
Over the years, Teresa has explored the mystical through movement, art, sound, indigenous ceremonies, shamanic journeying, and has been working with the energies of Teotihuacán for over 15 years now.
Teresa approaches each day saying Yes to Life! And she loves helping others find theirs.
